Last updated: July 28, 2026This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or register for The Black Friday Summit, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies alongside our
Terms and Conditions.Short version: registration is free, and in exchange your name and email are shared after the Summit with our title sponsor and the three Summit hosts, who each add you to their own email list. You can unsubscribe from any of them at any time. Details are in Section 4.
1. Who We Are and How to Reach Us
This website and The Black Friday Summit (the "Summit") are operated by
Rise and Launch LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," "our"), on behalf of the Summit hosts
Dolly DeLong,
Mara Kucirek, and
Rebekah Read (the "Hosts").
For the personal information collected through this website and the Summit registration process, Rise and Launch LLC acts as the data controller.

hi@marakucirek.com 2. Scope
This Policy covers information collected through blackfridaysummit.com, our Summit registration and waitlist forms, our Summit emails, our checkout and delivery process for the All-Access Pass, and any Summit chat or community space we operate.
This Policy does not cover the websites, emails, or practices of our sponsor, the Hosts' individual businesses, Summit speakers, affiliates, or any other third party, even when we link to them or share your information with them as described in Section 4. Once your information reaches those parties, their own privacy policies apply. See Section 4.4.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you give us
Registration and waitlist: your first name and email address, and any optional details you choose to provide such as your business type, industry, or list size.
- Purchases: your name, email address, billing address, country, and the details of what you bought. Full payment card numbers are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us. We receive only a transaction record and a truncated card identifier.
- Communications: the contents of emails, support requests, form submissions, survey responses, chat messages, and comments you send us.
- Testimonials and feedback: anything you voluntarily submit as a review or testimonial, including screenshots, along with the name, business name, handle, or photo you attach to it.
- Affiliate applications: if you apply to the affiliate program, your name, email, payment details, website, and audience information.
3.2 Information collected automatically- IP address, general location inferred from IP (typically city or region level), browser type and version, operating system and device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent, and the date and time of your visit.
- The exact timestamp and IP address recorded when you check the consent box at registration. We keep this as proof of consent.
- Email engagement data: whether you opened an email, which links you clicked, and whether a message bounced or was marked as spam.
3.3 Information from third parties
- Confirmation of payment and transaction status from our payment processor.
- Affiliate attribution data showing which link or partner referred you.
- Aggregate advertising and analytics data from ad platforms, where we run ads.
- Publicly available information you have made public, such as a social media handle you tag us in.
4. How We Share Your Information
Read this section carefully. Sharing your registration information is the condition of free Summit registration.
4.1 Sponsor and Hosts
By registering for the Summit or the waitlist, you consent to your
name and email address being shared with, and added to the separate email lists of, the following parties
after the Summit has concluded:
Each is an independent business that may send you marketing emails, including promotions for their own paid products and services. We do not share your payment details, purchase history, or engagement data with them, only your name and email address.
4.2 Speakers
Summit speakers do
not receive your information simply because you registered.
A speaker receives your name and email address only if you separately and voluntarily opt in to something that speaker offers, such as a free guide, template, or workbook linked from their session. Each such opt-in is a separate decision by you and places you on that speaker's list under that speaker's own privacy policy.
4.3 Service providers
We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf and are contractually limited to that purpose, including:
- Website hosting and forms: Showit
- Email marketing and automation: [EMAIL PLATFORM]
- Payment processing: [PAYMENT PROCESSOR]
- Course and content delivery, including the private podcast feed: [DELIVERY PLATFORM]
- Video and webinar hosting: [VIDEO PLATFORM]
- Analytics: [ANALYTICS PROVIDER]
- Affiliate tracking: [AFFILIATE PLATFORM]
- Accountants, attorneys, and other professional advisors where reasonably required
4.4 We are not responsible for third-party use
Once your information has been shared with the sponsor, the Hosts, or a speaker you opted in to, each of those parties becomes an independent controller of that data. They are responsible for their own privacy practices, their own security, and their own compliance with applicable law.
We are not responsible for what a third party does with your information after a permitted transfer. Requests to access, correct, or delete data held by those parties must be made to them directly. We cannot unsubscribe you from another business's list.
4.5 Other disclosures
We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or court order; to investigate suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, or violations of our Terms; to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, in which case your information would transfer to the successor under this Policy or a materially similar one.
4.6 What we do not do
We do not sell your information for money to data brokers, list brokers, or advertisers. We do not share your information with anyone who was not disclosed to you before you opted in. If we add sponsors or partners in future, they will be named on the registration page before you consent.
Note for residents of California and certain other states: the sharing described in Section 4.1 may be classified as a "sale" or "sharing" under some state privacy laws because it is made in exchange for something of value, namely free access to the Summit. See Section 10 for your opt-out options.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to register you for the Summit and deliver access; to send session links, reminders, replays, and Summit announcements; to deliver and support the All-Access Pass and private podcast feed; to process payments and handle refunds, billing questions, and chargebacks; to send marketing emails about our products and the products of the Hosts and sponsor; to respond to your questions and support requests; to run and pay our affiliate program; to measure and improve the Summit and our marketing, including analyzing which emails, pages, and ads perform; to display testimonials and feedback as described in our Terms; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and to comply with legal obligations, including retaining proof of consent.
Legal bases (for EU and UK residents): your consent (registration, marketing, cookies); performance of a contract (delivering a product you purchased); our legitimate interests (site security, fraud prevention, analytics, improving our offers); and compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
6. Cookies and Tracking
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember your preferences, measure traffic and performance, attribute affiliate referrals, and measure and target advertising.
Categories we use:
•
Strictly necessary: required for the site, forms, and checkout to work. These cannot be turned off.
•
Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site.
•
Advertising: may include pixels from ad platforms such as Meta, Google, or Pinterest, allowing us to show ads to people who visited the site and to measure results.
•
Affiliate tracking: records which partner referred you so commissions are attributed correctly.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising at
optout.aboutads.info and
youradchoices.ca. Blocking cookies may break parts of the site, including checkout.
We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, as there is no common standard for them. Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing.
7. Email and Your Choices
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email
hi@marakucirek.com to be removed.
Three things to know:
Each list is separate. The Summit list, the sponsor's list, and each Host's list are operated by different businesses using different systems. Unsubscribing from one does not unsubscribe you from the others. You must unsubscribe from each one individually.
Unsubscribing does not remove your access. You will keep your Summit registration and any All-Access Pass you purchased, but you will stop receiving session links and reminders, which are delivered by email.
Transactional email continues. Receipts, access instructions, delivery notices, and material updates about something you purchased are not marketing and will still be sent.
8. Data Retention
We keep registration and marketing data for as long as you remain on our list and for a reasonable period afterward to honor your unsubscribe and suppression preferences. Proof-of-consent records are kept as long as needed to demonstrate compliance. Purchase and transaction records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law, generally at least seven years. Support communications are kept as long as reasonably needed. Analytics data is retained in aggregate or de-identified form.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.
9. Security and International Transfers
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, reputable vendors, and access controls.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information at your own risk. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and any regulator as required by applicable law.
We are based in the United States, and our vendors are generally located in the United States. If you access the Summit from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By registering, you consent to that transfer. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism with our vendors.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to know what personal information we hold and how we use it; to request a copy of it; to correct inaccurate information; to request deletion; to request that we limit or stop certain processing; to withdraw consent at any time; to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising; to receive your data in a portable format; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
How to exercise them: email
hi@marakucirek.com with your request and the email address you registered with. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally 30 to 45 days, and may need to verify your identity first. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
Important limits. We can only act on data we hold. We cannot delete or correct data held by the sponsor, a Host's separate business, or a speaker you opted in to. You must contact those parties directly. We also cannot delete records we are legally required to keep, such as transaction and tax records.
EU and UK residents additionally have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California residents. The categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for collecting them, and the categories of third parties we disclose them to are described in Sections 3, 4, and 5. As explained in Section 4.6, our disclosure of your name and email to the sponsor and Hosts in exchange for free Summit access may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing." To opt out, do not register for the Summit, or email
hi@marakucirek.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." Opting out after registration does not reverse a transfer that already occurred, and you will need to unsubscribe from each recipient's list separately. Under California's Shine the Light law, you may also request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes by contacting us at the same address.
11. Children's Privacy
The Summit and this website are intended for adults operating a business, and you must be the age of majority where you live to register. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, email
hi@marakucirek.com and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
Our site, emails, and Summit sessions contain links to third-party websites, including sponsor, Host, speaker, and affiliate sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Review each site's own privacy policy before providing information to it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting how we share your information will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on this site. Continued use of the site or the Summit after an update constitutes acceptance.
